GradWell - Idaho Statewide 研究生 学生 Wellness Event
在典型时期, graduate students are significantly more likely than the general population to report symptoms of debilitating depression and/or anxiety. This phenomenon has only been exacerbated by the stressors related to COVID-19. 像这样, it has never been more important to attend to our own wellness and that of our students, both proactively and in response to unique needs that arise.
The Boise State University GradWell team, alongside colleagues at the University of Idaho and Idaho State University, invite you to join a statewide event to learn how we can better support graduate students as they navigate stressors associated with pursuing their degrees. The event will start with an informative introduction with Matt Niece, Director of Counseling 服务 at Boise State University, and Associate Director of the 研究生 School (ISU), 芭芭拉·罗伯茨.
The main event will involve a student panel discussion to learn firsthand from graduate students about how they manage stress and how their universities/departments influence their overall wellness and promote balance in their academic pursuits. 学生s from each university will join the panel, and faculty attendees will be invited to ask questions and engage in the discussion with the graduate student panelists. 最后, faculty are encouraged to stay for a 30-minute debriefing and reflection after the panel discussion.
This special statewide GradWell event will be held virtually (on Zoom) Friday, April 1, 3-5 p.m. MST(2-4页.m. PST).
